Something completely different…

We went to NYC at the end of last week to meet up with friends from France and it was such a great getaway. For the past several weeks I’ve been hitting it pretty hard at work and at the studio gearing up for my first market. I’ve wrapped up a KR, got added to and then taken off from a project, made something like 15 new pieces for the upcoming market, and created this website. It’s been a bit intense to say the least!

This trip was amazing for my little nerd soul. We got to tour the UN, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. These visits really affected me given today’s state of Trump bullshit. In a past life, I worked in international development and anti-poverty policy, and visiting the UN definitely made me think about a life that could have been.

In addition to that, I broke out my camera for nearly the first time in a year and snapped some really great pics!
